Town of Irondequoit 4th of July Parade

What:Town of Irondequoit 4th of July Parade
When:Sunday July 4th 12 PM lineup, 1 PM parade start
Where:Parade route is down Titus Ave., between Hudson Ave. and Kings Hwy.

Since Titus Ave. closes for the parade, it is suggested to travel Seneca Ave. to Titus Ave to group. For those of you who have never attended the Town of Irondequoit 4th of July Parade, here is what we do. You and your VW will drive down the parade route (about 30 minutes) while adoring viewers wave and give you the thumbs-up. They love to receive a wave and horn beep back! We also decorate our cars with U.S. flags and other red, white and blue decorations. We usually have 8-12 cars participate, but it would be wonderful to see an even larger group of VW’s rolling down Titus Avenue!

ALSO...Parade participants are invited to cruise down to Bill Gray’s restaurant near Seabreeze after the parade.

Because Bug Bust 19 was a bit of a rain-out, the choice was made to NOT have a formal registration process. We still had 30 or so VW’s join in, but since that is only 1/2 of the expected attendance, registration was suspended and awards were not given out. Let’s hope we don’t have a repeat of that rainy day this year! Rain or shine, Bug Bust 20 will go on as planned on Sunday August 1. For those members who pre-registered for the show last year, you will NOT have to send in another fee for this year. Simply let me know you are going to attend Bug Bust 20 and I will honor last year’s registration form and payment for this year’s show. Thank you and look forward to seeing you August 1st.
